I wanted to get into it, b/c I loved Alan Ball's Six Feet Under so much. The first episode seemed kind of lame, but the whole twisted Southern Gothic shape-shifting thing seems interesting. And Frank Sobotka from the Wire seems to be popping up. It's just such a time investment to get into a new series. Too many others I also want to watch. I can’t figure out whether I like True Blood. But...we do tend to do a lot of "it's us against the world" type of competing.
