A Face Made for Radio? Hardly.
Guess what?
Karl from Secondhand Tryptophan asked me to be on his show on Talkshoe tonight (December 4) at 10p.m. EST.
Me.
On. His. Show. Tonight.
Because I’m cool.
And also because everyone other blogger he knows probably celebrates Christmas and will be too busy getting their shopping done.
Or basting a ham.
Or taunting those of us who don’t celebrate Christmas with their flickering lights, egg nog, and beautiful trees. And giving each other presents.
But, whatever, I digress.
If you’ve never been to Talkshoe, you might want to hop on over there a few minutes early so you can sign up and join the live chat.
I might be in the chat room early. I might not.
Because that‘s how almost, nearly, virtually, not quite, not even close to being a big deal, budding Internet celebrities roll.
And then, you can listen.
To me.
I’m way too excited about this to be thought of as remotely cool anymore.
(Oh, and if you’re, you know, too busy having a life on December 4 at 10p.m. EST, you can always download the show on iTunes).

Too bad I have to work tonight. Sigh. It seems I miss all the good nights for radio shows.
you will have such fun! he’s a great host and you’ll be COMPELLING to listen to, my darling. i shall be traveling, though…so i won’t be able to hear!
I’m wondering if there is any possible way I can stay awake that late.
Yeah.
I know.
I’m old.
You’re the best show pimper ever! Maybe you should replace Britt on our show one of these days for a guest host slot.
I’m OK with that.
@Sarah Bummer. There’s always the download?
@Crys: Thanks. I’ll try to channel your awesomeness while I’m on the show. So, if around 10p.m., you feel a little less than awesome…it’s because my psychic vampirism. GAWD. I’ve become such a geek.
@Miss Britt: As many things as you have on your plate, I will totally understand if you’d prefer to sleep. And, you are not old. Because I am young. Mathematically speaking, that makes you young.
@Avitable: Nobody could *replace* Britt, as she is undeniably irreplaceable. I would be willing, however, to offer a sad, shallow and pathetic attempt at substitution that would never quite make the mark. Have your people call my people. Huh. That’s sort of not as witty since you actually *do* have people. And I don’t.
This ought to be fun. I usually don’t have the patience for talk radio, but I may tune in to hear you. And Karl, of course.
You are a fabulous show promoter! I’m even going to try to stay awake to listen. I have to work at 3am, but I may just go in tired. Just to hear you and your awesomeness…no pressure:)
@Finn: I’ll try to be really, really entertaining.
@Becky: Aww. That’s really sweet. And as long as your not an Air Traffic Controller, I support your decision to stay up and listen.
cool! if i can get the little one to bed early, im listening!
what will yinz be discussing… fascist republicans? brown people?
hehe
this week has been rather brutal at the office and my eyelids are already drooping, but i shall attempt to partake in the magnificence of your voice on the show tonight.
have fun with it!!
Can’t wait.
@Slyde: Don’t forget you can download if you missed it.
@hello haha narf: “fascist republicans? brown people?” LMAO.
@Karl: It was so fun. Thank you, it was really nice of you to have me. And? Don’t ever use the word “naked” and Faiqa in the same sentence on your blog again. Ever.
No. Seriously.
Oh, okay. Would “nude” be better?
Crap, I missed it! I will download the archive!!!
