Diversity, dialogue and multiculturalism in America

So, yeah, here it is.

I actually started out with another template, tried to modify the code, and just got upset that after ALL the tinkering I did, the blog still didn’t look the way I wanted.  Did I mention that I have a degree in Computer Science?  Feels great to know that was money well spent.

The result of my frustration is the prefab template you see before you.  I like it.  Mainly, because it works.  Rest assured that it’ll probably look a little different each time you come by for a visit.  Should you come by for a visit.  And, I hope you will.  Please.

Sometimes, we have to realize that life will just pass us by if we spend too much time planning to get started instead of actually getting started, right?

Looking good, looking forward to when it is all done and you’re happy with it.

Looks like a good start to me! I’ll definitely be coming by….

If you have questions, you can always ask me. I know everything.

We should have a design your blog party. Come on over, we’ll eat, force our children to play together, set the husbands in front of some kind of “manly” TV – and play with your template.

    I’m totally serious.

    Tami: Thanks! :)

Mik: Me, too, but given my dedication to perfection, I will most likely never be exactly happy…wow, that was fairly pessimistic, wasn’t it?

Stef: Look at you!! Two comments in a week?! I’m apt to get spoiled, now.

Avitable I was going to ask you for help, but then I didn’t want to contribute to your dangerous pseudo-elitism. Oh yeah, I said pseudo. :)

Miss Britt: OMG. We should totally, definitely do that. But only if you let my family call you “Miss” Britt. :)

  7. Faiqa says:

Wow. I used a lot of smileys in that comment reply.

  8. Miss Britt says:

My friend’s nephew used to call me Miss Britt. When he was 5.

Our babysitter calls me Miss Britt too.

    I guess it’s better than ma’am. :-P

Best of luck to you in your new house.

Or metaphor of your choice! :-)

I have one blog on Blogger and another on WordPress.

Can’t tell which functionality I prefer more.

  11. Sybil Law says:

    It looks great!
    I’ll stalk you regardless. :)

  12. Faiqa says:

RW: Thanks, I like the house metaphor. I hope you will continue to reign your special brand of joyfulness in my ‘new house’, as well.

B.E. Earl I didn’t know that…Anyway, I suppose, as with anything, they both have their own advantages/disadvantages. Except for Macs versus PC, that advantage is clear. And Obama versus McCain. And McDonald’s versus BK. And…

  13. Faiqa says:

Sybil, Check your e-mail. I’m taking our stalker relationship to a whole new level. MUWAHAHA.
